Biography

I am have worked as a postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the supervision of Jeremy Gregory and Randolph Kirchain at CSHub and MSL research centers. I have also worked as a research scholar at Université de Sherbrooke, where I did my Ph.D. I finished my Ph.D. in 2018 in the Civil Engineering Department, Université de Sherbrooke (LIRIDE group) under the supervision of Ben Amor and Ammar Yahia. My project objective was to develop a consequential dynamic life cycle inventory for concrete and asphalt pavements (See my dissertation).  ï»¿
I completed my master's in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Tabari under the supervision of Mohammad Shekarchi and Javad Berenjian. In my thesis, I examined the compatibility of zeolite blended cement with different superplasticizers. I was also involved in many projects of Construction Materials Institute (CMI) at the University of Tehran, where our group conducted different research works on the development, characterization, and implementation of various supplementary cementitious materials on large scales, such as the ready-mixed concrete industry. In addition, I was CMI laboratory supervisor for a year and organized all the tasks in the lab.
I finished my B.Sc. in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Tabari under the supervision of Javad Berenjian. My project was focused on the development of self-consolidating lightweight concrete by local materials, specifically pumice, limestone, and natural pozzolans. This project has interesting implications for the pre-cast concrete industry of the region. See Research Grants and Projects for additional details!
